In just three short years, Carl has had a significant impact on the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. His contributions as a volunteer have improved the land in general and the day-to-day operations of the Conservancy. In the field, Carl can be found leading and supporting hikes with a smile for each visitor. He not only participates in stewardship activities, but also leads a popular “Adopt-a-Canyon” monthly activity in Limestone Canyon. In addition to being a great volunteer recruiter and ambassador, Carl has played a key role supporting the implementation of improved volunteer management software for Conservancy staff. His love for the land and commitment to the organization is inspiring.

  14. Everyone else has said it all. I agree that the level of enthusiasm is tops, and the patience with a down-to-earth practicality has seen me through on being on time at the gates. I appreciate being able to work with you in Agua Chinon as well as Bommer Canyon and HHR as you instill your love and enthusiasm for the land and all that it supports to those who come out. They come back again because of how and what you impart what it means to you. The idea of another way to demonstrate distance between the planets was great! Congrats!
