Christine Ragos is the immediate past president of U.S. Bank’s Orange County Development Network. The Development Network is a unique employee led program at U.S. Bank, designed to promote personal and professional development, with a strong emphasis on volunteer leadership and service to the community. Christine joined the Development Network in 2008, and became chapter president in 2014. Under her leadership, the Orange County Development Network consistently ranked as one of the very best in the country, and was a finalist for Chapter of the Year the last two years. She and her fellow Development Network board members have become a force for good in Orange County, supporting numerous nonprofit organizations with their time, treasure, and talents. They have spearheaded efforts with Giving Children Hope to provide school supplies and backpacks, worked side by side with residents as part of a neighborhood cleanup day in Oakview, run races for United Way, painted for Habitat for Humanity, taught middle school students how to balance a checkbook during COR CDC’s summer enrichment academy, put up holiday decorations, collected toys at KidWorks, and sorted clothing in the warehouse at Working Wardrobes – and that’s all in addition to their full time jobs as bankers. As a leader, Christine is professional, thorough and strategic. As a community volunteer, she is passionate, caring and committed. Christine is also genuine, thoughtful, and warm. At a recent All Employee meeting, Christine was asked come on stage so the bank’s Orange County employees and the members of the Development Network could personally thank her for her hard work and acknowledge her accomplishments. She is truly someone who has gone “above and beyond” expectations as a leader within U.S. Bank and as a volunteer leader in the community.
